Meet the Author: Sara Gorkin
Sara is a former linguistics instructor who specializes in discourse analysis and pedagogy. "It Is Just Heaven To Be Eleven" will be Sara's first published children's book. She has academic writing published with John Benjamins and Springer, as well as a science fiction novel entitled "Off The Gryd", published through her own Writing, Editing & Publishing House, Ink & Quotient. In addition, she has several stories and screenplays in pre-production for TV, film and streaming.
Meet the Illustrator: Miya AK
Miya AK holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature, and has worked as a Project Manager for a publishing translation company, where she managed translation projects, including coordinating between publishing companies and translators, and reviewing the English to Korean translation of children's books. She is currently illustrating several children's books that are in preparation for publication. Miya AK enjoys nature, the outdoors, animals, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
